When the estuary calms down and the light begins to brown, everything changes: the noise is left behind and the sea sets the pace. This experience is designed to enjoy a leisurely journey, with a historic schooner, good company and a sunset that is lived as a small ritual.
RIO de Vigo: Sail slowly, breathe salt and watch the day fade over the water
Vigo's RÍa plan. it is a sunset on a schooner along the Vigo estuary of about 2 hours, aboard a schooner built in 1912 and restored to sail with all the comforts. You will depart from PortoCultura (Port of Vigo) with Xoán (skipper) and his crew, heading to the north coast of the estuary to watch the sun go down with the Cíes Islands as a backdrop. The departure is made with a minimum of 8 people (if you are less, you can consult because there may be other groups).
Heading to Cíes, anchoring on a quiet beach and sunset ritual with aperitif
During the navigation you will head towards the Cíes Islands (without arriving), while they tell you about their historical and natural importance in the estuary. Once with the island in front, the boat anchors on a quiet beach to enjoy the sunset with music, an aperitif and a drink, creating an intimate and memorable moment, perfect to come with friends or family.
What time does the boat depart?
It depends on the time of year, to adjust to sunset.
Are you coming to the Cíes Islands?
No, you sail towards Cíes to see them in front and enjoy the sunset, but you do not disembark.
What does the drink include?
Includes 1 drink and a steamed mussel appetizer.
