The Jordán-Arrako Ravine is an unbeatable experience for those looking for a challenging adventure in the world of canyoning in Navarra. Located in the impressive Roncal Valley, this route combines two different sections: the Barranco Jordán, characterised by rappels of up to 20 metres, and the Arrako, with aquatic and narrow areas that collect the waters of the canyons in the area.
A technical ravine with rappels, aquatic areas and spectacular landscapes
The adventure begins with a quick access from the Venta de Juan Pito car park, in Belagua. After equipping ourselves with the necessary material, we enter the first part of the route, where the chain of rappels of up to 20 meters will test our skill on the rope. This section is a dark and slippery environment, which adds excitement to the descent.
In the second part, as you enter the Arrako River, the ravine becomes more aquatic and technical. Here we find narrow corridors, swimming areas and rock formations polished by the water, creating a breathtaking landscape. The combination of these two ravines makes the Jordán-Arrako Ravine one of the most complete canyoning experiences in Navarre.
A route for adventurers in the best canyons in Navarre
This descent is ideal for those looking for a more demanding challenge, with a medium level that allows you to improve your rappelling technique and face areas of water in a safe environment. If you are passionate about nature and adrenaline, this activity is perfect for you.
End of the tour and return with views of the Roncal Valley
After completing the Jordan-Arrako Ravine, we will start a return of approximately 20 minutes, ending the activity at the Arrako Dolmen, a place with breathtaking views that will put the finishing touch to this experience in the middle of nature.
