Below, we suggest a perfect route to do with the family. The usual route starts on the Senda en La Ribera in Suances and continues to Viveda (Santillana del Mar). Continue through Torrelavega, Cartes and if you feel like it you can reach Barros (Los Corrales de Buelna). Always on the same bank of the Suances estuary and the Besaya river. Each one decides at which point to end the walk of the path (Los Cantos, Hinojedo, Viveda, Torrelavega or Barros) always taking into account that then you have to return to the starting point (Suances). If you want you can take a walk through other areas such as La Concha, Subida al Faro or the road to Tagle.
