Let yourself be surprised by the spectacular landscapes of Cantabria with our Exclusive Railway Bike Tour which includes a visit to a cave.
Our circular tour starts from our base in Pumalverde (or at your hotel in Santander or Torrelavega if you add the supplement) taking you to the Peña Montero well and returning by an alternative route. Along approximately 10 kilometers, you will enjoy stops for explanations about the local geomorphology and visit a Cave of incomparable beauty. The total duration is 3 to 4 hours, suitable for participants of all levels and ages from 10 years old.
During the route you will be able to see the remains of old mining buildings in the village of La Gándara, explore the Tunnels and bridges that cross the train track, and stop to admire karst formations and remains of mining exploitation. You'll discover stalactites, stalagmites, and other speleological wonders in the cave, before continuing your cycling route.
At the end of the tour, you will return to our base in Pumalverde to enjoy a Small snack courtesy of the organizer.
