Boat trip in the bay of Santander

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Santander Bay while learning about its history and legends with this boat tour. You will be able to contemplate the Most beautiful beaches of the area and see the Monuments most emblematic of the Cantabrian capital.



Itinerary

• We will meet at the Promenade at the time of your choice and we will walk to the pier to embark on a boat trip through the bay of Santander.



• From the boat you will be able to admire the building that dominates the bay, the Royal Palace of the Magdalena. This majestic residence in eclectic style was built at the beginning of the 20th century as a gift to King Alfonso XIII.



• The tour will continue through The Sardinero, one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in Santander and known for its extensive beaches, and for the Cabo Mayor and Santa Marina Island. We will also travel along the coasts of other municipalities in the bay, Loredo and Somo, whose beaches have become very popular thanks to their kilometre-long sandy beaches surrounded by nature.



• We will continue sailing to contemplate the Ferry Docks which connects the Cantabrian capital with several English port cities. And of course, we couldn't finish the walk without passing through the Centro Botín, one of the most representative buildings in Santander and designed by the architect Renzo Piano.



• After an hour of navigation, we will arrive at the starting point.
