From our base in Pumalverde, equipped with helmets and boots, we will immerse ourselves in a unique journey that combines mining archaeology with the exploration of Natural caves full of impressive speleothems.
Our tour, guided by local experts, will take us through the old mines of Udías, with strategic stops to admire the richness of its mining heritage and the Unique geological formations that they house. For approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours, we will witness how these mines, active from 1853 to 1933, have become a Treasure of Caving in Cantabria.
At the end of the route, we will return to our base in Pumalverde, where it awaits us A comforting snack and a delicious skewer as a final touch to recover energy.
