Swapping the meeting room for the sea transforms everything. Here, learning becomes a game, collaboration becomes necessary and the estuary sets the stage: a traditional boat, a mussel raft and a team challenge to really experience what it means to work in the trade of the sea.
RIO de Vigo: A different plan to get out of the routine and connect as a crew
The experience of Vigo. is a 2-hour mussel raft teambuilding in Vigo, with a meeting point at the Real Club Náutico de Vigo and departure to be agreed. On board an old wooden mussel boat (bateeiro), restored and built in Astaleiros Triñanes, you will learn about the process of mussel farming from breeding to marketing, as well as seeing inshore fishing gear. It is an active and immersive activity: participants must be involved for the team to function.
Team competition, questions and hands on deck as "bateeiros"
The dynamic is designed to participate and have fun while you learn: the group is divided into two teams, an explanation of mussel cultivation is made attached to a raft, then a block of questions is posed that the team must get right and, to close, it is time to work as bateeiros making mussel ropes, guided at all times by a professional of the raft. The boat has ample space, is accessible (wheelchairs can go up) and has a bathroom (not accessible).
What does the teambuilding dynamic consist of?
Two teams are formed, the mussel process is learned in the raft, questions are answered and a guided practice is carried out making mussel ropes.
How long does the activity last?
It lasts 2 hours.
Does it include food or tasting?
Includes an onboard tasting.
