Pontevedra estuary: Go fishing for a day and try the sea where it is born
The experience of Pontevedra. It combines sustainable traditional fishing and cultural discovery. You will go out on the boat Playa de Sanxenxo with Captain Sauro, learning first-hand what a day of work is like: preparation of tools, going to sea, visit to the market where the product is marketed (after passing through the fish market) and a tasting to savour the authentic taste of the sea. During the route you will be able to enjoy enclaves such as the island of Ons and the surroundings of the Atlantic Islands National Park.
From port to networks: Participation, learning and taste on board
The activity is structured in stages: first the team is prepared and sailing; then the part related to the commercialization of the fish and the tasting is carried out; and, to close, they return to the boat to collect nets and pots. It is an active experience, designed to be lived in a small group and with close attention, with schedules marked by the very logic of fishing work.
How long does the activity last and what time do you return?
The departure is around 11:00 and the return is approximately around 16:00, since it depends on the development of the work.
