Free tour of Comillas

The ifishing and seafaring influence, an old mountain town and an artistic and historical aura make the town of Comillas one of the essential towns to visit in Cantabria. Did you also know that it has been the Location of a famous movie?



Itinerary

• We'll start at the Old Town Hall, Alfonso XII was received there in the summer of 1881.

• We will enjoy the Constitution Square and of the Corro San Pedro, and then we go to the other work by Gaudí in Comillas: The Door of the Birds.
• We will look out over the most beautiful viewpoint in Comillas: the Santa Lucía viewpoint, from here we will see the port and the beach, an exceptional place from which to explain the whaling history.
• We will continue until the The Duke's House and from there we will visit the monument of the Marquis of Comillas, where we will develop the biography of this controversial character, key in the future of the Villa.
• Then we will go to the Comillas Cemetery, one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the country and which hides several secrets. From here we return to the center, to end at the Fountain of the Three Spouts and the Casa Ocejo.
